About The Resort
	Bonista Beach Resort has been in business since January 2000.  Our goal is to provide an international standard resort at local prices.  We try to present a modern facilities located in a sun-drenched tropical setting.  We are environmental friendly resort taking steps to improve and preserve the natural habitat surrounding the resort.  Bonista is one of the first international standard resort established in a rural unspoiled area of Negros Occidental Philippines.  The area is sparsely populated so the water is clean, air is fresh and the traffic noise is almost non existing.  Bonista is constantly growing and evolving since only phase 1 of 3 has been completed.  Come grow with us!  Currently our customer base consist of 95% local people and 5% foreigners.

Bonista staff waiting to serve you.     How to get here   From Manila to Bacolod Negros Occidental;            *  Via plane,  approximately 1 hour.                      *  Via super ferry to Bacolod, approximately 18 hours over-night cruise.    From Cebu to Bacolod           *  Via plane, about 30 minutes   From Bacolod to Bonista Beach Resort; *  From Bacolod to Bonista Beach Resort via taxi, jeepney, bus or private car.  Approximately 2 hrs.  Taxi cost apprx 1500 pesos,  Jeepney cost about 1000 pesos and bus cost about 65 pesos.  From Cebu to Bonista Beach Resort; *  Via bus or car.  About 1.5 hours by land and 2 hours by ferry.  Arrives Danao port in Escalante City.  Pickup from port to Bonista is about 10 minutes.  Drive to Bonista from the port is about 45 minutes.   Money Matters All meals are less than 300 pesos (about 6 dollars). Beers are 35 pesos ( about 60 cents ). Rooms are 1,200 pesos (about 22 dollars).  Off-season discounts are available.
